Sonogram has been originally programmed at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (Deutsches Forschungszentrum fuer Kuenstliche Intelligenz DFKI, www.dfki.de) and is now in hands of the core developer Christoph Lauer. Sonogram is a tool to analyze speech and sound signals and is a highly flexible audio spectrum analyzer for the analysis of sound, music and speech signals in the frequency-domain using different algorithms with an so called Ultrazoom function and 3D visualization called perspectogram. It runs on any operating system.
